If your army is at its maximum capacity and there are bodies of demons on the ground, use corpse explosion on them. Casting amplify damage debuffs enemies and forces them to take sufficiently more damage, making your army much more effective. Teleport wherever you like and begin killing things. Use Revive, Raise Skeleton, and Raise Skeleton Mage on every single body that dies until your army is at its maximum force. Go to an area of your liking and begin killing stuff with your spells, your mercenary and your golem. Therefore, after entering a new game your first goal should be to begin building your army. Think of your pets as your "tanks".ĭepressing as it may be, armies do not follow you from one game to the next. That means you, the player, are not to be running in monsters faces and taking hits all the time. This character is based mostly around his minions. In addition, you can turn into a bear at will. This indirectly allows you to force your minions to focus fire. Not impressed? Did I mention you can teleport? When teleporting, all minions are teleported to the exact spot that you click. Assuming you use your mercenary, you and your army will constantly be effected by: Your necro will have max resists, a decent block rate, and lots of pets. This build is the strongest Minion Necro build there is. That said, I do have friends who extremely enjoy this build so I still encourage people to try it. IMO it is extremely slow at killing monsters (compared to bilzz sorc, hammerdin, etc.) After summoning an army there isn't much to do other than cast amp damage, and the occasional corpse explosion which doesn't give the player a very active role in slaying monsters. Update: I just went on D2 and made this build. Therefore, having items of value to trade and being a good trader is very necessary. It utilizes items that are very difficult to find in the world. Warning: This build is meant for more advanced players. If you die all your minions die with you, and it can be a pain to raise another army. Just make sure you teleport away if you think you're in danger of dying. Gaby de wildeįor the most part this is a PvE build, but can be fun to PvP. Yeah, that was what I thought before I started building them like this. After reaching a high level it is quite easy to summon an entire army and have them slaughter demons for you. Yes I am the goon that grips my mouse too tightly when I play so its hurts after a couple of hours now I am playing longer and loving it.The Minion Necro is a necromancer build that utilizes, primarily, the skeleton, skeleton mage, golem, and revive abilities. Some kind soul on this forum introduced me to the trackball mouse that has greatly reduced the pain I had from gripping my normal mouse. Hoping this new difficulty setting will fix that but being able to pick skills any time you want is kind of a downer because I enjoy doing research and picking builds and being restricted to it until I respec. I find the Grim Dawn skill tree is much more interesting although the world is better in Diablo 3. I never grind for loot to gear differently and play at higher difficulties so it's usually a one run thing but I never actually completed Diablo 3 so looking to finish it. I only play for the story and completion. The last time I played Diablo 3 the difficulty at normal was so easy I quit playing but this time I will adjust it higher and play it. Recently went back to Grim Dawn and my interest in these games have been rekindled. Do I need the expansion to get the necromancer pack or can I buy that separately ?
